The RK Royal Kludge X87 is a compact mechanical keyboard with a gasket mounted build, the kind of construction usually found on custom boards rather than off the shelf ones. The result is a softer, quieter typing feel with far less of the hollow case resonance cheaper mechanical keyboards suffer from.
At 86 keys in an 80 percent layout, it keeps the function row and arrow keys while saving roughly 20 percent of the desk space a full size keyboard takes.
